Network Engineering

Oak Lane Consulting provides design, installation, Operations & Maintenance (O&M) for terrestrial and satellite communications. Oak Lane Consulting specializes in developing effective network solutions to maximize systems reliability and availability.

Site Survey – We provide professional site survey services for new systems requirements. Our engineers have experience conducting site surveys throughout the world. Differences in international standards can cause a great deal of confusion for network designers – our engineers have been there – we can identify concerns before they are problems. We have the experience needed to successfully implement your network systems.

Design and Documentation – We provide comprehensive design drawings and documentation which reflect system requirements, network architecture, and specifications. Configuration Management (CM) provides a complete inventory of equipment, its make, model, and serial numbers along with software revision and system configuration.

Local Area Networks – We provide the engineering, fitting, installation, testing, and O&M for local area networks (LANs), to include secure wireless networks. Our engineers have experience with IP routing and routed protocols, LAN Emulation, IP Phones – converged networks. We also specialize in network security, including Virtual Private Networks (VPN) and Firewall implementation.

Wide Area Networks – We provide the engineering, fitting, installation, testing, and O&M for high capacity wide area networks (WANs). Our engineers have experience with ATM, Frame Relay, Telephony, and Satellite Communications.

Telephony Systems – We provide the design, fitting, documentation, installation, and O&M for analog and digital telephone systems. Cable Plant – We provide the design, fitting, installation and maintenance for various network media cable infrastructure.

Operations & Maintenance – We provide ongoing O&M for all deployed systems. Our entire staff is cleared to TS/SCI, providing immediate support for classified requirements.

Managed Services – We provide network performance analysis to improve reliability, availability and reduce risk of environmental or hostile interference. Our engineers have experience with various types of test equipment, to include BER Testers and Protocol Analyzers.

24 Hour Support – We provide 24x7x365 on-call support for Networks and Systems Administration.
